Limelight Home Staging transforms unoccupied properties for sale into well designed homes that appeal to a wide range of home buyers. This position, the Quality Support Assistant, is a part time paid position working to help designers implement the stage with excellence and a high degree of professionalism. The schedule for this position varies but usually falls within Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. There will be a reduction in hours during the low season (fall and winter).
There will be a 3 month probationary period. The base pay for this position starts at $15.00 per hour. Work performance, experience and job history will be taken into consideration for starting pay and for pay increases.
Work with the owner and lead designer of Limelight Home Staging, Staging Assistant/Designer and Movers to implement stages and de-stage properties that have sold and are nearing the close of escrow. The Quality Support Assistant helps to implement the designer’s staging plan and makes sure that the implementation meets the quality standards of Limelight Home Staging. The quality support assistant follows a design plan in the placement the furniture, helps hang artwork, make beds, set out accessories, and ensures that everything is ready for show, including cleaning glass, steaming bedding and towels, dusting accessories, etc. The quality Support Assistant will also help to prepare properties that are ready for de-staging. A de-stage consists preparing and packing the de-staging supplies and heading over to the property to prepare all the items for pick-up. The quality support assistant will follow detailed instructions on how to prepare the items in the property for pick-up as well as returning the property to its original condition prior to staging. De-staging includes removing nails from the walls, light property clean-up including vacuuming, wrapping furniture, wrapping accessories and having every item ready for pick-up prior to the arrival of the movers. This position involves some lifting. The qualified candiate must be able to lift 40 pounds. The ideal candidate has experience in packing and has no back, neck, shoulder, hip, knee, foot, wrist, hand or other injury that would make manual labor difficult.
This position requires a long term commitment from a person that has a settled life situation and is local. While some positions allow for short term seasonal employment, this position requires at least a 1 year time commitment.
